⚠ Not Investment Advice
GexLog is an impersonal financial publication of general and regular circulation, operated by an individual doing business as GexLog, located in Minnesota, United States (the "Operator"). All content on this website, on the agent.gexlog.com API, and on The Gamma Brief YouTube channel, including GO/CAUTION/WAIT signals, day-type forecasts, playbooks, key levels, narratives, and any scored or ranked output, is general market commentary published to the public on a fixed schedule. It is not, and is not intended to be, personalized investment advice, a recommendation to any particular person, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or other instrument.
The Operator is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, financial analyst, or bank, and does not manage money or accounts for any person. Nothing here is tailored to your financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance.
Do not trade based solely on what you see on this website. Consult a licensed financial professional before making any investment decision.
1. Risk of Loss
Trading securities and derivatives involves a high degree of risk and can result in the loss of your entire investment. This is especially true for the instruments discussed on this site:
- Options, including 0DTE and 1DTE SPX index options: These are highly speculative, complex, and time-sensitive instruments. Defined-risk structures such as iron butterflies and credit spreads cap the maximum loss on a position, but that entire amount at risk can be lost, and can be lost quickly.
- Futures: ES futures prices appear on this site as a pre-market reference for where SPX may open. We do not publish futures trading advice. Futures trading carries substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor.
- Leverage and volatility: Options and futures are leveraged instruments. Losses can exceed expectations during volatility expansion, overnight gaps, and illiquid conditions.
Past performance of any strategy, signal, or indicator, whether actual or hypothetical, is not indicative of future results.
2. Market Data and Derived Analytics
Market data on this site is obtained from third-party providers (including Tradier and Financial Modeling Prep) and is captured as scheduled snapshots, typically before the market opens, after it closes, and on weekends. The timestamps in the page footer show when the current data was generated and when prices were last refreshed. This site does not provide real-time or streaming market data. Data may be delayed by minutes to hours relative to current market conditions and may be incomplete or contain errors due to feed issues or calculation limits. It is provided "as is" without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Gamma exposure (GEX), put and call walls, the GEX flip and zero-gamma levels, expected move, pivot levels, regime classification, and similar values are derived analytics calculated by our models from third-party options data. They are theoretical estimates of dealer positioning and are not guaranteed to reflect actual market positioning. You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or republish any data obtained from this site or its API.
3. Performance Information
GexLog publishes two kinds of performance information and labels which kind is being shown.
- Actual results are the Operator's own closed trades in the Operator's personal brokerage account, shown with entry, exit, and profit or loss where published. They are one individual's real results, are not typical, do not reflect any client or managed account, and are not a promise or projection of your results.
- Hypothetical, paper, backtested, or model-tracking results, including signal accuracy scorecards, forecast verdicts, and paper-mode signal outcomes, are modeled and have not been achieved in a live account. They carry inherent limitations, including hindsight bias and the absence of real financial risk, and do not fully account for execution prices, slippage, fees, and liquidity.
Past performance, whether actual or hypothetical, does not guarantee or indicate future results. Trading options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN; IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM. ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING. FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
4. AI-Generated Content
Morning, evening, and weekend narratives, playbooks, and summaries on this site are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence models from Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini). The models receive pre-computed market facts, and automated checks are applied to their output. Narratives are published on a fixed schedule and are not individually reviewed by a human before they appear. Video scripts for The Gamma Brief are drafted with AI assistance. The Operator holds editorial responsibility for what is published and corrects errors when they are identified. AI systems can still produce factual errors, including misstatements of levels, direction, or regime. Always verify critical data points against official primary sources. No visitor data is sent to these AI providers.
5. Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
GexLog is supported by affiliate relationships. In accordance with Federal Trade Commission guidelines, please assume the following:

6. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability
This site, its content, signals, data, and API are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
